steel scabbard. Triangular blade 18" marked 'U.S..' to

Mauser in 1916. Clean blade 37cms, good grips, minor
damage to flash guard. Some nicks to blade. In its steel

made at Erfurt in 1915. 'HighEars' muzzle ring and flash
guard. Clean sawback blade 37cms. Good grips. In its
steel mounted leather scabbard (minor shrinkage
preventing bayonet fitting flush with scabbard). Overall
good condition. Somewear to scabbard leather.

Bayonet: a scarceModel 1874TurkishSabre bayonet for
the Peabody Martini rifle. These bayonets were
manufactured by the Providence Tool Co. in America.
This example is unmarked except for the normally found
single letters 'W' & 'H' applied to ricasso & crossguard
respectively. Yatghan blade 22.5", thick hooked quillion.
Black chequered leather grips. In its steel mounted
leather scabbard (some distortion to leather) Overall
good condition (some light pitting overall). Grips with
handlingwear.

Bayonet: An interesting and scarce FrenchpatternModel
1866 Sabre bayonet. This we believe is the Belgian
M1868 Tenssen Bayonet. Ricasso is stamped 'HI' &
'1869'. The crossguard 'R-4512'. Leaf spring retained by
a screwnot rivet. Bayonet is cleanedbright overall.

Cannon Balls: 1) An iron cannonball of approx 3 "
diameter. Loose mounted on a wooden plinth. Good
condition for age. 2) An iron cannonball with a note from
'The Flagship H.M.S. SIRIAS sunk at the Grand Port
Mauritious/Mauritas (sic). Relic condition. Diameter
approx 4" (2)

Carbine: a good Sharps Model 1863 percussion carbine. Serial number 23428. Barrel 21.5". Calibre .52, percussion ignition, straight breechmodel,
with Sharps pellet priming system integral with the lockplate. Normal Sharps patent dates barrel marked 'NEWMODEL 1863'.Walnut stockwithout
patchbox. These carbines were issued to the North's Cavalry Regiments and this early example bears the owners initials 'H.A' carved into the walnut
butt stock. The carbine has a crisp action and good bore and a pleasing plum brown patina overall. *The SN- 23428 should denote an 1859model
andmay actually beC-23428. Carbine dates 1863/4. A fine example of these iconicU.S. carbines.

Carbine: A Great War Bulgarian Model 1895 Artillery/Cavalry carbine. Cal 8mm. This carbine is a conversion from a Model .95 service rifle,
retaining the long rifle rear sight SN:9120c (matching) receivedmarked 'STEYR 1903' with the BulgarianCrest to the receiver. In excellent condition
overall and in goodworking order. Excellent varnished stock.WithD/Act cert.
