Marked VR & Mass Arms Chicopee Falls USA. With
Maynards tape primer. A number of these locks survived
a fire in the Tower Armouries which destroyed the
Carbines. Circa 1857.

construction with slanting ribbed grips. Left side 'The
Webley Junior .177'. Patented in Great Britain No
219372. Fixed rear sight, sliding barrel catch, no safety,
smoothbore 6.5 barrel for darts. SN J-7081
manufactured circa 1929-1938. Inworking order. This is
the 1st model in the Webley Junior series and Rare.

East India Company Percussion Cavalry Pistol. 'Bakers'
pattern lock converted from flint. Short swivel rammer
(swivel missing) with large flat head. Barrel 9" of Carbine
bore, rounded tang, with baluster turns at the breech.
Flat brass buttcap with lanyard ring . Worn overall with
bruising to walnut stock. Flat hook-shaped sideplate with
screw at centre. Bore .66" (nominally 17 bore) Action ok
on1st cock, slips on second.

Fine pair of 19th century travelling pistols. Engraved
locks marked 'SMITH'. Octagonal barrels marked
'LONDON'. Barrels 6" and of approx 20bore. Post 1813
proofs to barrels. Walnut stocks with chequered bag
shaped walnut grips with silver escutcheons and iron
furniture. One pistol has twominor repairs to right hand
of stock. Barrels have been cleaned and refinished. Both
locks in good working order. (pistols are likely made by
Charles James Smith of King William Street, London).
These are an extremely attractive and quality pair of
percussionpistols circa 1845-50. (2)
