ST, MELBOURNE.'. Frame marked 'Tranters Patent".

Barrel 4.5". In crisp working order (double & single

action). Unfluted cylinder. Calibre .442 Rimfire. Ejector

rod absent from crane. An attractive well made and

popular large calibre revolver, used as a self defence

weapon in the Australian Goldfields. No licence

required.

33" short fullers, ricasso stamped JK Pearce & Co. Floral

Street, Covent Gardens W.C. Blade with minor areas of

medium pitting. Wirebound wooden grip. In its black

leather field service scabbard (not associated but a good

fit). Label states sword from the Somme area. Overall

good condition.
