Cal:7.63mm,Serial number 99578 dates this as
a pre WW1 commercial made in 1911. In working order,
worn overall, left hand & underside of barrel some
pitting. Horizontal grooved grips, lanyard ring absent.
Old type safety frame marked 'Waffenfabrik Mauser
Oberndorf A NECKAR'. Recessed panels. Action weak,
but in working order. A genuine Great War C-96. With

Spanish gunsmith Eibar. Barrel 5.24", side mounted
rammer, folding trigger. Two piece bag shaped
chequered grips. Crisp W/O and condition (fair amount
of original finish).

raised pan and rammer. Ring neck cock. Stepped
unbolted lock. Marked crown over GR. and 'Tower' to
tail of lock. Barrel 9" with pre 1813 proofs. Lock viewers
mark circa 1810. Good walnut stock (circular drilled hole
has been plugged possibly used for a lanyard). Brass
furniture with 'skull crusher' heavy buttcap. Metalwork
smooth with a pleasing patina. A good example of this
iconic pistol. (Crisp lock on 1st & 2nd cock) Good
working order & condition

pocket pistol by BUNNEY of London. (Joseph Bunney
London & Birmingham). Turn off barrel 4". Bag shaped
walnut grips with fine wire silver inlay. Action signed
'BUNNEY' & 'LONDON' (possibly converted from
flintlock?). An attractive pistol in good condition for age.
Lock (a little stiff). In good working order. (Joseph

circa 1790. Breech engraved with scrolls and 'BUNNEY'
and 'LONDON'. Bag shaped walnut grips with fine
filigrees wirework. Crisp action fully working on 1st &
2nd cock. Turn off brass cannon barrel 2" with original
barrel key. This is a lovely 18th century pocket pistol of
good quality in GWO & condition. A collector's lot.
