Sword: A Victorian type hanger as used by police,

coastguards, customs officials etc. Cutlass type curved

blade 23" Shortened, tip rounded. Stirrup hilt, fishskin

grip. Brass (?) mounted leather scabbard. (stitching a/f).

Worn overall, unmarked. (small proof mark)

Sword: An 1821 Pattern Light Cavalry Officers sword, In

its black painted steel scabbard. Blade 32.5". Ricasso

marked 'J. DANIELS WOOLWICH'. Blade nicely

etched with strands of Arms. This sword deserves a good

clean and removal of scabbard paint. Basically in good

condition with some wear.

scabbard. Blade 32". Ricasso marked 'G.H.Cook 6

ALBERMORLES LONDON'. Etched blade 'V.R. &

'RIFLES' and owners initials 'WB'. Light rusted patina

overall. Good wirebound fishskin grip. A good

untouched sword - 'a sleeper'

Sword: An 1828 Pattern Highland Infantry Officers

broadsword. Blade 32". Ricasso marked 'Wilkinson

Sword' and by appointment to Her Majesty Queen

Elizabeth II. Blade etched with thistles. Steel basket with

chagrin wirebound grip. The whole in good condition

and requiring a good clean. No scabbard. A quality

example by the master sword maker.

Sword: An 1845 Pattern Infantry Officers sword. This

appears to be a picquet weight version for wear during

social engagements. Brass guard with V.R. Cypher. Slim

fullered blade by Henry Wilkinson. Blade numbered

14500 for 1866. Slim engraved blade with Wilkinson Pall

Mall address. Folding guard. Wirebound fishskin grip.

This is a well made attractive sword of the type and is in

its slim brass scabbard (some dents). A nice item! (minor

bend to guard)

Sword: an 1897 George V Pattern Infantry Officers

sword by Henry Wilkinson of Pall Mall London. Number

46861 for 1914/15. Etched blade some age staining but

no pitting. In its leather field service scabbard. Sword the

property of Lieut. C.D Wyles 4th/Bn. Hampshire Regt.

A good quality piece. Sold with: His commission

document in the Territorial Force to Christopher D.

Wyles 2/LT. Territorial Force & dated 11.12.1914.
