Pistol: A good turn off barrel, boxlock, single shot

percussion pocket pistol circa 1840. Action sideplate with

makers name 'MACE' & 'Reading'. Large bore (.42)

Retains virtually all original blued finish. Plain bag

shaped grips. Crisp working order. Appears to have never

been fired. Contained in a dummy book 'Fletcher's

Works. Interesting lot, rarely found in this collectors

grade condition.

Pistol: A semi-automatic Mauser C96 pistol in 7.63mm

cal. SN: 470366 with wooden forend and buttstock.

Barrel length 410mm. Matching numbers, ? safety.

Refurnished overall and deactivated in 2006 and retailed

by W.Wide Arms. In a custom made, fitted wooden

carrying case with handle. Certificate of deactivation

dated 23.1.06.

cock, stepped to unbolted lock, plate signed 'D. MULAY'.

Octagonal barrel 8", top flat signed 'D. MULAY

DUBLIN'. Walnut stock with silver escutcheon with

initials 'A.H'. Brass T/Guard with acorn finial. Original

ramrod (minor fracture to end of stock with small chip

missing). Lock in good working order on first and second

cock. An attractive Irish flint pistol in good condition.

Brass inlaid wooden stock. Brass furniture. A close

inspection shows this pistol would clean up (some paint

from decorating overall) into a decorative item. Pistol
