by Henry Wilkinson numbered 18738. Blade 34" (some

rusting). In its field service scabbard (some damage). Wire

missing from fishskin grip. Sword dates to 1872. AND a

Geo V 1897 Pattern Infantry Officers sword with

damaged guard. By Enfield & dated 1901. (2) a/f

Wirebound fishskin hilt. Blade 34.5" etched with Geo V

Cypher. In its leather field service scabbard with leather

sword strap and leather troddel. Accompanying it is its

polished steel scabbard. All contained in its leather

carrying case. The whole in mint collectors grade

condition. Best we have seen. !

Sword: A French (?) Musicians (?) sword straight double

fullered blade 32" Ricasso signed 'OUTREAUX' & dated

on the reverse 'LINESS' (?) with armourers stamps 'C' &

'G' in ovals. Simple brass hilt with brass clamshell guard,

plain knucklebow & bun pommel. In its steel scabbard

(blade does not fully enter scabbard). Attractive sword

with leather knot.

Fenton Brothers Sheffield (sword cutlers to the War

Office). Blade 33" (pitted with lifting of plating). In its steel

scabbard marked '12. 12' (December 1912?). Throat

screws missing. Some pitting. Good wire bound fishskin

grip. Steel guard (minor loss to Geo V logo). Sound

condition.

Sword. Etched blade 35''. Ricasso marked

''HAMBURGER ROGERS & CO LONDON'' Top of

blade stamped ''M6839'' Minor rust stains to blade. In its

black leather, field service scabbard, good wire bound

fishskin grip and pierced steel bowl.

with large teardrop shaped device cut out. Plain curved

blade 32" Ricasso marked 'E & F. HORSTER

SOLINGEN'. Reverse with crown over F.M.I. Top of

blade engraved: 'OBLT. S.J. HEEARD ZU 7.7.39.

NURNBURG'. Twist wire fishskin grip. In its polished

steel scabbard. Red and Gold Bullion 'TRODDELL'

attached to hilt. An immaculate and interesting

personalised sword.

S.W.'' In its leather field service scabbard (minor loss to

top) Wirebound fishskin grip. Overall in good condition.

Sword: A good U.S. dress sword Model 1850 for staff and

field officers by Hilborn Hamburger Inc. New York in

stainless steel etched 'United States Marines. Brass guard,

backstrap with Phrygian brass pommel. In its brass

mounted leather scabbard. The whole is immaculate

condition. A collectors lot.

Sword: A scarce Great War British Pattern 1908 Cavalry

Troopers sword. Blade 35", Ricasso marked 'EFD'

(Enfield) and dated '12.15' (December 1915). Top of

blade with pattern 'P08' mark. Steel bowl guard with

dermatite chequered grip. Scabbard throat stamped with

W/D Arrow. 'S.B. BN' and '15' (for 1915) & inspection

stamp. Bright steel finish over painted with Khaki/Olive

green paint for WW1 overseas service. Complete with its

scarce leather saddle frog marked with W/D Arrow &

'17' for 1917. The frog was also designed to carry two

spare horseshoes and forms part of the saddle. Blade is

excellent, the whole sword in good condition.

Sword: A very good 3rd Reich Infantry Officers sword.

Gilt brass hilt and knucklebow with troddel knot. Silver

wire bound celluloid grip. Nickelled polished blade

marked 'ALCOSO' 34". Nazi eagle to crossguard. In its

black painted steel scabbard with single ring and leather

and steel clip suspension mount. Lionshead pommel with

red 'jewelled' eyes. In collectors grade condition.
