- 1840. These robust pistols saw wide service in the
European navies during the Napoleonic Wars and after.
Cal.69", Barrel 9". Heavy Walnut stock with brass
furniture. Robust buttcap with Iron lanyard ring. Large
lock working well on 1st and 2nd cock. Belgian proof to

Pistol - A good Pattern 1799 Light Dragoon Pistol with
wooden rammer. Lock marked 'Tower' and 'Crown over
GR' and inspection mark. Barrel 9", English proof and
'S.F.C' engraved to top of barrel 'H.L' stamped to reverse
of stock (maker?) Brass furniture lock in crisp working
order on half and full cock. Excellent Walnut stock with
apron. A fine Napoleonic Wars Military Flintlock Pistol
as used in the Peninsular and at Waterloo. V.G.W.O and
condition (Ramrod possibly replaced?)

Pistol - A Napoleonic 1794 ordnance pattern. Light
Dragoon, flintlock pistol. Barrel 9" of carbine bore. Lock
marked 'Tower' to tail and 'Crown' over 'GR'. Proof
marks with crown over 'H.N' to barrel. The cock has
been replaced and the woodwork professionally repaired
under the lock plate. Otherwise Pistol is original and in
good condition and working order. An attractive pistol
circa 1800.

by Hollis and Sheath. Octagonal barrels 7" top flat
engraved 'LONDON'. Flat lock plates with simple
Acanthus decoration signed 'Hollis & Sheath' (10/11
Weaman Row B'ham 1849-50) Fine walnut stocks with
chequered grip and oval buttplate with bullet trap. Steel
T/guard & silver fore-end cap. Belt clip to L/hand side
of stock. Captive rammers, notch rearsight. Both locks in
crisp working order. Contained in a green baize fitted
walnut case with accessories including:- small flask,
nipple wrench & cleaning rod. Oval brass escutcheon to
case with initials 'C.W'. (?) A fine pair of matching belt
pistols circa 1850 (for the Crimea?) GWO & Condition.
