and other game. Hexagonal Damascus barrel 32" with
silver foresight and leaf rear sight. Good walnut stock
with chequered wrist and forend. Back action lock.
Makers name 'T Boss'. Steel ramrod. Engraved steel
trigger guard and furniture. Full stocked to muzzle. Rifle
circa 1840. Light wear commensurate with use. A quality
rifle from the Victorian era. No licence required.

Ornate octagonal barrel 43" secured by three barrel
bands. Chequered pistol type stock with small patchbox.

Stone Bow: An c1700 Hunting 'Stone Bow'. These
crossbows fired a stone or a baked clay ball instead of a
quarrel and were used for hunting birds in the main.
They were obsolete by 1800. This example in good
original condition and appears complete. Lacks
bowstring. Bow width 26". Viewing recommended - a

Sword - A scarce 1796 pattern heavy cavalry troopers
sword hatchet point blade 35". (The hatchet point blades
normally indicate a pre-waterloo sword). Blade signed by
maker 'Osborn'. Good blade (a few nicks) good iron
guard and backstrap with the normal ears. Leather
bound wooden grip (some losses to both) Apart from the
grips this is a decent, untouched example of this iconic
sword. No scabbard. A collectors lot in VGC for age

garuda wooden hilt with cup mount. Slim tapered blade
17½ " (No scabbard). In untouched condition, no losses,
