Knobkerries: A pair of Zulu knobkerries of some age.

One with striated oval head and hardwood shaft (overall

length 29") One with offset head as cut from hedge/tree.

Rawhide reinforcement to shaft. (overall length 27")

Kukri: 1) Tourist quality Kukri with two small knives in

its leather scabbard. 2) Leaf shaped African Spear head

possibly Zulu short Assegai. 3) Unmarked socket bayonet

- no scabbard. All in sound condition and better

Kukri: A huge Kukri sword. Heavy traditional blade 23".

One piece decorated wooden grip. In its wooden

scabbard with leather cover. A fearsome weapon which

would take a very strong arm to wield it. Definitely not a

tourist piece.

Pistols: A cased pair of percussion pocket pistols by

Ketland. Brass frame signed 'KETLAND' & 'LONDON'

with brass turn off barrels 3.75" (approx). Concealed

trigger. Lock in gwo and condition. Hammer centrally

mounted with sliding safety. Polished walnut grip with

silver shield escutcheon with initials 'F.R.E.' 'V' & 'P'

proofs. In their fitted case (no key). Small bag shaped flask

(unmarked). Bullet mould & barrel key (pitted) Cap tin.

Pistol: A good E.I.C. Flintlock Cavalry pistol with long

stirrup hammer 1811- 1818. Barrel 9" smooth bored and

of carbine bore (normally 17 bore - .66"). Lock, flat plate

with bevelled edges dated '1813'. Flat ring necked cock

lockplate with EIC Lion & Crown over 2. Walnut stock

with EIC mark and part stockmakers initials 'J.B.'? A hole

in the stock has been filled (size of sixpence). Brass

furniture, trigger guard engraved 'N.N.V.' (possibly

NEPALESE NATIVE VOLUNTEERS) & '25'. Nice

piece

Pistol: A good quality percussion overcoat pistol.

Hexagonal barrel 5" bore approx .50. Captive steel

rammer. Barrel engraved 'LONDON'. Chequered

walnut full stock. Lock (Crisp w/o) with Acanthus

scrolling. Bag shaped grip with oval silver escutcheon.

Steel furniture salt & pepper surface pitting. A decent

quality example.

Pistol: A pair of boxlock, single barrel, percussion pocket

pistols. Turn off barrels 2" chequered bag shaped grips

with steel buttplate. Sheath trigger. Actions at fault.

Acanthus scrolling to side plates. One a decent pocket

pistol circa 1830, the other with action, seized & nipple

missing. (2)
