Sword: A Cavalry Officers sword circa 1790-1810 possibly Americana? Curved blade 33" (approx).

Beautifully decorated with Dragon & Moon/Stars stand of Arms etc. Wirebound wood & leather

grip. Brass stirrup hilt with plain backstrap. In its brass mounted leather scabbard (some crazing,

stitching good). This is a good sword of the period based on the 1796 pattern.

Sword: A Continental Sabre of the 19th century. Stirrup

hilt with long slim langets & down turned quillon.

Wirebound leather grip. Hatchet point blade 32.5". Steel

backstrap & pommel. In its heavy steel scabbard with

single suspension ring. Good untouched condition (grip

a/f in parts) German made, most likely for the Italian

Artillery.

Sword: A Continental short sword of Gladius Pattern

circa 1800 of the Napoleonic Wars. Origin is possibly

French. Broad blade 19" with central fuller. Ribbed brass

hilt with straight quillons & diamond shaped pommel.

Blade lightly pitted. No scabbard. A good Napoleonic

sword & unusual.

Sword: A European Cavalry sword. Heavy carved blade

approx 32". (Heavy rusting) Triple bar hilt with ribbed

wooden grip. No visible markings. Should clean up well

when surface rust is removed. Contained in its broad

brass mounted leather scabbard (loss of leather to mid

section). No markings but of some age. Viewing

recommended.

Sword: A French 'Gladius' pattern short sword model

1831. Blade ricasso stamped 'KLINGETHAL' and

'OU__X FRERES'. Cross Guard with '1815'. Ribbed

brass grip, blade 19". No scabbard. Generally good

condition (Blade slightly loose)

marked 'JEAN' and oval inspection stamp. Blade 19".

Ribbed brass grip. Cross Guard with 'O' stamp. No

scabbard. Good overall condition.

Sword: A German Naval Officers sword of The Great

War. In its gilt brass scabbard. Slim pipe back blade 31"

etched with ships, Stand of Arms etc. Folding

guard/catch. Wirebound ivory (?) hilt. Lions head

pommel with red and green glass eyes. A collectors

example with a little light wear.

Sword: A good 19th century German short hunting

hanger by W.K & C. (Weyertsberg - Kirchbaum & Cie).

Etched blade 13.75" with W.K.C logo & huntsman &

hunting scenes. Top of blade marked 'G. ECKENHOFF

NACHF. BERLIN' Composition Ivory (?) grip with brass

acorn inserts. 'D' Knucklebow with hoof finial & clam

guard. In its brass mounted leather scabbard with acorn

frog stud. A very attractive hunting hanger in collectors

grade condition.

Sword: A good QE2, 1827 Pattern Naval Officers sword.

Etched blade 31". Brass gilt hilt with folding catch. Sword

numbered 96082 by Wilkinson sword (dates sword to

1969). Fine gilt brass bound leather scabbard. Wirebound

fishskin grip (VGC). A fine sword in collectors grade

condition.

Sword: A good Turkish Shamshir. Curved ribbed back,

chipped back blade 27" approx. Engraved silver coloured

langets & quillons with bulbous terminals. Blade with

gold (?) decoration. Grip missing with bulbous pommel.

This was once a good quality sword, now with parts

missing from grip, rusted (surface) overall. Blade with

possible repair. This will all clean up well and make a

good winter project. No scabbard. a/f

Sword: A Naval Officers Spadroon type sword of the

Napoleonic Wars? Curved blade 33" with simple etching

to blade including a cannon & powder Keg (?) & sword

device. Plain brass knucklebow with diamond shaped

langets & drooping quillon. Chequered Ebony grip (age

cracks). Broad fullered blade culminating in a double

edged spear point. A few minor nicks to blade. No

scabbard. Light rusting. A very attractive and decorative

sword from Nelson's Navy. Viewing recommended.

with VR Crown/Cypher. Etched blade 33". Ricasso

marked E.Thurkle Soho, London. Polished steel bowl.

Wirebound fishskin grip (g.c). In its leather field service

scabbard. Good condition. A decent example.

with George V Crown & Cypher. Etched blade 32".

Good wirebound, fishskin grip. Leather troddell. In its

leather field service scabbard. A good example of this

popular pattern of sword. (Sword frog attached to

scabbard)

Sword: A traditional Arab broadsword 'TAKOUBA'.

Blade 32" (heavy surface rust - should clean ok). In its

decorated leather scabbard (chape a/f) with hanging

straps. In sound condition but careful cleaning will

improve it no end.

Sword: A U.S. Model 1832 Foot Artillery, Gladius

Pattern, sword. Blade 19" with 2 parallel oblong fullers &

a single central fuller. Ribbed brass hilt with plain

crossguard. It remained in U.S Service until 1872 &

included service in the Seminole War & U.S. Civil War.

Blade tip rounded.
