Sword: A Victorian 1845/54 Pattern Infantry Officers

Sword. Blade 32". Etched with V.R. Cypher & Crown.

Brass guard. Wirebound fishskin grip. In its brass

scabbard. A decent example of this attractive Victorian

sword. Clean blade. Minor wear to grip. Two dents to

scabbard.

Sword: A Victorian Pattern 1895 Engineers Infantry

Officers Sword in its leather field service scabbard with

khaki cover. Blade 32" with makers name 'ROB MOLE

& SONS BIRMINGHAMMAKERS TO THE WAR &

INDIA OFFICES' etched to ricasso. Royal Engineers

Cypher to blade. VR Crown to steel bowl. (Blade appears

to have Geo V Crown (Edward VII?). Sword in very good

condition with some light wear. Good wirebound fishskin

grip. Overall a good example. (frog strap a/f)

Sword: An 1827 Pattern Rifle Officers sword by

Wilkinson Sword, logo but no number to blade. Indian

Government stamp to Ricasso, W/D Arrow stamp and 'I'

(India) I.S.D. - Indian Subordinate Department. Steel

guard with strung bugle device. Good wirebound fishskin

grip. In its black leather field service scabbard dated 1915,

1917 & 1935. Frog tab absent. A good quality sword in

fine condition.

(Heavy service rust). Wirebound fishskin grip (small loss

to fishskin) Edward VII Cypher to pierced steel bowl.

Sword in its sound condition but requires attention.

Ricasso marked 'SANDERSON BROS NEWBOULD

LD. SHEFFIELD'. Geo V (?) cypher to blade. Steel bowl

with Geo: (V) Cypher (minor distortion ?). Wirebound,

fishskin grip. Overall sound and better condition. Needs

a good clean!

Sword: An all steel Tulwar. Standard hilt with disc

pommel, guard and long langets. Curved blade approx

30" hatchet point. Worn but sound overall. No scabbard.

Sword: An Edward VII, 1821 Pattern Heavy Cavalry

Officers sword. Single edged blade 35" etched with the E

VII R Cipher. Ricasso marked 'HAWKES & Co., 14

PICADILLY LONDON'. In its steel scabbard (a few

light dents). Nicely patinated overall. Good wirebound

fishskin grip. (tiny loss to base of fishskin). A decent sword

& a 'sleeper'.

Sword: An Elizabeth II 1920 Pattern RAF Officers sword

by Wilkinson Sword Co. Blade 32". Etched with blank

panels. Gilt brass guard with RAF Eagle & EIIR Crown.

('M147' engraved on bowl') Blade numbered 91470 (for

1967). Wirebound fishskin grip. Eagle pommel with gold

bullion knot. A good quality sword in excellent condition.

Sword: An English made late 19th early 20th century

Hunting Sword. Blade approx. 50cms. Ricasso with Lion

motif & 'FUERTE' & makers stamp 'K.

KUNTERAGON SHEFFIELD'. Clean blade. Ebony

grip with carved Eagle pommel secured with 3 brass

rivets. Brass S quillon crossguard. In its leather scabbard.

Very good condition overall.

century. No scabbard.

piece of steel. Kora style blade 20". Stepped hilt with

flattened pommel. Steel crossguard with bamboo

decoration of human (?) hair. Of some age with light

pitting overall. Possibly an Egyptian 'Khopesh' (Animal

Overall length approx 3 feet. Good condition. 2) A silver

topped swagger stick with crown over Maltese Cross &

T.C.L.B.C in quadrant below. 3) A 19th century fencing

'Epee' cord bound grip. 'SOLINGEN' stamped to

quatrefoil blade 29". Butterfly guard with leather pad. A

good lot of interesting items in good condition. (3)

Accrington Stanley v Bradford City played on 3/2/1962

and was Accringtons last home match before going into

liquidation. The programme is actually wrongly dated

the 3/2/61 perhaps everyone had given up by then!

front Aston Villa Cup 1928 with enamel centre, to rear G

P Slater who was a well known non-league G/K in

Birmingham area. The final was played at Villa Park

between the top works sides and was regarded as the

league
