by Hans Romer VLM & dated for 1914. Also stamped
'BAM 9.30'. Rarely found in this condition.

Bayonet: A Collector's grade example of the P.13 sword
bayonet for the P14 rifle. Made by Winchester in April
1916. Excellent blade with original polish. Contained in
its steel mounted leather scabbard with round frog stud.
Lovely grips. Nice example. (Only 225,000 made by
Winchester).

Bayonet: A good Pattern 1879 Sawback Artillery
bayonet. Pommel marked 'M' 'DN' R.A.1 (Militia 1st
DEVON MILITIA ROYAL ARTILLERY). Good
sawback blade 25.75". WD marked, dated March 1889
with 'VR' Crown. In its leather scabbard. Steel stirrup
hilt with excellent chequered grips. A collector's lot.

musket. Ricasso marked 'OSBORN' & socket stamped
with rack number 'C over 41' (C Company 41st Foot?)
Small hole drilled through top of socket. V.G.C overall.
No scabbard. *41st Foot were the 1st Bn Welsh Regt.

St.Etienne in March 1878. In its blued steel scabbard. An
above average example.

Bayonet: A No4 MK1 Cruciform bayonet. Socket
marked:-' No4 MK 1 SM'. In its steel scabbard with
webbing frog. A good example of this scarce bayonet.

Bayonet: A Pattern 1853 socket bayonet for the Enfield
P53 rifle. Volunteer markings (matching) to both the
socket and the brass frog stud. Marking V.Y.W 20.84
(West Yorkshire Volunteers). With its original Buff
leather frog also marked to the W.Y. Vols. The whole in
excellent condition. A collector's lot and very rare to find
all three parts marked to the same unit.

Bayonet: A Pattern 1853 Socket bayonet for the Enfield
P.53 rifle, in its 1st Pattern scabbard. Bayonet and
Scabbard frog stud, both marked 'SM9'. Bayonet No 12
and Scabbard No 19. The socket also marked 'V' for
volunteer.

Bayonet: A Pattern 1888 MK1 2nd Type scarce hand
Pattern MKII scabbard with integral frog. Regimentally
marked to the Essex Regiment on the Pommel. Has a
museum tag still attached. Interesting bayonet.

Bayonet: A Pattern 1888 MKI 2nd Type by Sanderson
in November 1895. Regimentally marked to the 2nd
Devonshire Regiment who were present at the Relief of
Ladysmith amongst other actions during the Boer War.
In a rare wood & pigskin scabbard with a brass locket.
An interesting bayonet with a Boer War connection.

Bayonet: A Pattern 1888 MKI 2nd Type WD Issue in its
leather scabbard with integral frog and integral chape.
Reverse of pommel marked 'N' for Naval use. (Note:
other bayonets were used in Naval Operations in WW1
in the C.L.L.E. including Zeebrugge Raid). A good
example.

quillion. Bayonet made by Enfield in May 1909. Pommel
marked 'MAN' for the Manchester Regiment. Good
bayonet with clean blade. Light pitting to mounts &
pommel. In its matching numbered First Pattern
scabbard with integral chape. Scabbard by Chapman
dated 1909, locket with light pitting overall.

rifle. Manufactured by rare maker 'MOLE' in September
1917. Excellent grips with inspector's marks. Blued
pommel marked O.T.C. - AMP.157 (Officer Training
Corps Ampthill College), in a particularly good 1915
scabbard by Chapman complete with leather frog.

bayonet with no flashguard and 'high ears' made by
Simpson & Co. Suhl in 1915. In its steel scabbard with
correct leather frog.

made in 1917 by Mauser. Originally a sawback it was
returned to the arsenal and the sawback was removed. In
its blued steel scabbard. Overall in good condition.
