Martini Henry .577 Rifle, clean blade with sold out of
service and farsi markings. In its brass mounted leather
scabbard.

bayonet. Peruvian crest to pommel. Blade 20.5". good
condition.

(?) copy. Horn grip. Plain brass pommel. Triangular
blade 9.5". Steel crossguard with ball finial (one quillion
broken off). Simple engraving to blade. In its brass &

scabbard marked 1889. Small buff frog with U.S. wire
belt attachment. Possibly for cadet use. Socket marked
'C-3882'. Polished blade 18". Ricasso marked 'SD &
F.D.' Good condition overall.

Bayonet: an 1888 Pattern, Mark I bayonet with a MKI
steel mounted leather scabbard. Pommel marked
'V.5.HLI888' (5th Volunteer Bn. Highland Light
Infantry). Ricasso marked 'VR' and dated January 1899.
Made by Enfield. Cleaned bright overall. A tidy example.

Bayonet: an instructional Pattern 1856 sword bayonet.
The bayonet has had a section of the grip removed to
reveal the leaf spring & lug. This would likely be for
instruction to armourers. In its steel mounted leather
scabbard. Ricasso marked 'E.H.' in oval. Stitching on
scabbard af. Interesting lot.
