Carbine: a rare Evans Repeating Rifle Company, New Model Carbine, Calibre
.44. Evans centre fire (obsolete. No licence required). A 28 shot repeater. Number
manufactured approx 4000, circa 1877 to 1879, at the height of the 'Wild West'. It
held the record for most bullets carried in the magazine of any repeating rifle.
Loaded through trapdoor situated in the buttstock. This carbine is complete & in
good working order. Operates on a lever action with underhammer. Barrel
address for 1871. Barrel approx 22. Walnut stock. (minor bruising) A rare piece
U.S. firearms history.

Carbine: a U.S. Civil War 5th Model Burnside Carbine barrel 20", stamped
'CAST STEEL 1862'. Calibre .54. (obsolete, no licence required). This carbine
fired a unique round shaped like an ice-cream cone. Carbine is complete and in
good working order and condition. Walnut stock (minor bruising). Serial number
indicates a likely issue to Company 'C', 12th New York Volunteer Cavalry on 15th
Sept 1863. (SN Range 1896 to 19059 issued to 12th N.Y. Cav. This carbine is
18937). Approx 43000 issued in total. Scarce

Carbine: a U.S. Civil War Smiths Carbine manufactured by the Massachusetts
Arms Co of Chicopee Falls. Mass 1861-65. Total made approx 30,000. This
carbine is a .50 calibre breech loader. Barrel 21 5/8". Walnut stocks (Armourers
repairs to fore-end). Iron mounts. Barrel part octagonal, part round. Sling swivels
to barrel band & butt. SN 8552 dates to approx 1863. Agents address Poultrey &
Trimble to L/H. side of action. The Smith carbine was issued to the following
U.S. Cavalry Regts: 3rd West Virginia, 11th Illinois Vol Cav.; Ist Connecticut; 7th
& 17th Pennsylvania; 609th Ohio; 1st Mass. Vol. Cav. Overall in good working
order and condition.

Co. Circa 1898. Metal work retaining most original blue.
Dust cover to bolt, magazine cut off. Front volley sights
(rear peep sight missing) good walnut stock. A good

these rifles. With certificate of deactivation.

1. 24" with tang, rounded tip. No markings. Blade 2. 34"

Sword: 1897 Pattern, Edward VII NCOs sword. Blade
33" short fullers, ricasso stamped JK Pearce & Co. Floral
Street, Covent Gardens W.C. Blade with minor areas of
medium pitting. Wirebound wooden grip. In its black
leather field service scabbard (not associated but a good
fit). Label states sword from the Somme area. Overall
good condition.

sword. Pipe back blade 29.5" unmarked. Folding guard,
brass hilt. Wirebound fishskin grip (some losses to
fishskin). Contained in a leather field service scabbard
not associated with this sword (some damage and losses)

Sword: an 1827 Pattern Naval Officer's sword. Brass gilt
hilt with lion head pommel (with circular pommel nut to
top of lion's head). Plain blade with surface rust (will
clean). In its brass mounted leather scabbard (the leather
detached from locket & chape). Requires careful
restoration. (take care removing from scabbard). Overall
