Rifle: A good .303 cal Martini - Enfield service rifle.

Right side of action marked: 'CROWN V.R. ENFIELD,

1881, III, I.' The left hand side of the action marked:

'V.R. ENFIELD, 1895, ME .303'. All parts WD marked.

Good walnut stock stamped with Enfield store keepers

marks and sold out of service stamp. Brass marker disc.

In V.G.W.O and condition (foresight blade and butt

swivel missing). Long cocking indicator. Fading blue

finish. Nice rifle.

Rifle: A Nazi WW2 KAr 98K Service Rifle. Breech

marked 'byf '43'. In excellent overall condition with

leather sling. Cleaning rod missing, 'byf' code used on

rifles produced by Mauser-Oberndorf in 1943.

(1,422,336 produced). Calibre 7.9mm. Good working

and condition with certificate of deactivation.

Rifle: A Portuguese 8mm Vergueiro model 1904 service

rifle. Made by DWM Berlin circa 1904-10 in 6.5mm.

Crest of King D. CARLOS to top of chamber. The

Portuguese used this rifle in WW1 in Angola &

Mozambique (SMLE in Europe). This original 6.5mm

rifle was converted to 8mm in 1937. In very good

working order and condition. With its certificate of

deactivation.

Rifle: A scarce Great War Imperial German Geweht 98

7.92mm Service rifle. Breech dated 'SPANDAU 1916'.

Receiver marked in 'FRAKTUR' 'GEN98'. Serial

number 5867 to breech, stock and magazine plate.

Original beech stock with Imperial Govt. inspection

marks to buttstock. Matching straight bolt no 5867 in

good working order and condition. Complete with

certificate. (Light pitting to metalwork). *Note virtually

ALL GEW 98s found in this country are battle trophies.

35" with simple 'V' rearsight. Walnut stock. Some repairs

Rifle: An early 19th Century Indian JEZAIL rifle. Long

barrel 44" EIC marked 'Brown Bess' lock signed

'MORTIMER' (screw absent). Decorated Indian

Hardwood stock (some repairs). Brass barrel bands. Lock

in working order. This gun has had a long and hard

working life possibly spanning 18th & 19th centuries.

This is a good example of a genuine working gun and

would restore well. GWO and condition. (Some loss to

woodwork below lock). Buyer collects

Shotgun: A good percussion Sporting shotgun converted

from flintlock. Part octagonal, part round barrel 31".

Lovely engraving of a duck to the lockplate. Fine walnut

stock (minor losses to top of fore-end). Crisp lock on half

and full cock. Drum and nipple conversion. Barrel top

flat marked 'LONDON GUNMAKER TO HIS

MAJESTY'. H.W. MORTIMER one of England's finest

gunsmiths. Made fine pistols and sporting guns from

1755 to 1824. This shotgun made as a flintlock circa

1800-1810. Good piece

Sword stick: An interesting Irish short sword stick blade

14". Blade engraved with Prince of Wales crest and the

post 1801 Royal Coat of Arms and an anchor. Walking

stick of Irish Blackthorn, total length 35" (Note blade

14"), losses to wooden handle (easily restored). Tip ferrule

absent. An interesting self defence weapon from the early

19th century.

35". T shaped unfullered blade, steel bowl and

wirebound leather grip. Unmarked, good overall

Sword: A fine 1831 Pattern General Officers Mameluke

sword, formerly the property of Colonel E.A. Wood.

Blade etched with Crown & 'V.R.' and 'E.A. WOOD' &

'X ROYAL HUSSARDS' two piece ivory grip (with

minor repair) polished steel scabbard with gilt mounts

with two suspension rings. Colonel E.A. Wood served in

the Afghan War 1878-9 and participated in the assault of

Ali Musjid and operations in the Leighman Valley. Mid

and Afghan medal with clasps.

sword in its leather field service scabbard with frog strap

(A/F) Blade 34" in good condition marked with the

George VI Cypher and 'Royal Artillery'. Top flat marked

'MADE IN ENGLAND'. Triple bar guard with wire

bound fishskins grip. A good example of this popular

sword.

Wilhelm II applied to wirebound fishskin grip. Double

fullered blade 32". Phrygian pommel, brass hilt with

Wilhelm II Cypher in its steel scabbard. The whole in

good condition.

Wilkinson (Royal Artillery Pattern). Ricasso marked

'HENRY WILKINSON PALL MALL, LONDON'.

Etched blade with R.A devices. Top of blade numbered

35867*. Blade 35" in good condition. Steel triple bar hilt

(light rusting). Wirebound fishskin grip (minor wear) in its

steel scabbard (lightly rusted). This is a good quality

sword which requires a sympathetic clean to restore it.
