Seventh London's 1949 Pattern Battledress Blouse to a

Lieutenant in the 567 (Mixed) Light Anti-

Aircraft/Searchlight Regiment, RA (TA). 567 can trace

their lineage back to the 7th Battalion, The London

Regiment ('The Shiny Seventh') and the unit insignia on

the left sleeve still bears the old 7th cap badge; a flaming

grenade with a 7 in the centre. The Blouse is size 8 and

dated 1953. It still has its manufacturers label (Mourne

Clothing Co. Ltd). It has been issued and worn and still

retains its full unit insignia and original red-backed

Lieutenant's 'pips'. The blouse was certainly worn pre-

1955 when Anti-Aircraft Command was disbanded.

There are three small moth holes - two on the collar and

one on the right cut. It also has a small cut under the left

shoulder strap.
