Ephemera: framed WW1 items as follows: 1) A rare
award certificate for the French Medaille Militaire dated
10/7/15 to SGT. Ernest Chidgey re. DCM, MM, MID,
Medaille Militaire. Medaiile Militaire for gallantry on
19th Nov, 1914. Nicely framed. 2) A portrait of Ernest
Chidgey RE. in civilian clothes. 3) A framed picture of
the Somerset L.I. The back annotated 'To Leo In
Memory of Grandad Chidgey died 20th Feb 1963 aged
82' It says it was a picture of his first regiment and hung
above his bunk at the Royal Hospital Chelsea and signed
H. Chidgey, Executor to the estate of E. Chidgey DCM.
